Building a Bridge : How NurseAI and Dr. Health Agent Connect the Patient Journey

by: Guntas Dhanjal, CEO, BAG Healthcare.

The more I worked on NurseAI and I read about Healthcare Technology companies, it became clearer that technology alone can’t fix healthcare. Its not the best solution or the fancy app that matters – what matters most is when a solution makes lives better for Nurses, Patients or Physicians.

NurseAI started as a standalone screening tool for nurses and caregivers. But as it evolved, I began thinking about the next step in the patient journey: what happens after a screening identifies a need?

That’s where Dr. Health Agent App comes in.

If NurseAI helps identify social and preventive health needs, then my personal app Dr. Health Agent is the natural next link. A companion app that helps coordinate care, automate follow-up, and unify fragmented data.

Imagine a nurse using NurseAI to identify that a patient lacks reliable transportation. With one tap, they could send that screening result to Dr. Health Agent, which then helps coordinate a community transport service or follow-up with the patient’s provider. Now that’s an Amazing use of the technology.

  • NurseAI identifies the social and behavioral barriers that impact care.

  • Dr. Health Agent aggregates and interprets that data securely, guiding the next step in the care pathway.

Together, they form a digital ecosystem built around preventive health and health equity, not just diagnostics.

Planning the next version

The next development phase will allow secure communication between the two platforms, powered by encrypted APIs and built on HIPAA-conscious architecture. This integration will make it easier for nurses, caregivers, and physicians to collaborate and without overwhelming them.

When I first started this journey, I was trying to solve one small problem – helping nurses onboard faster. But through pivots, setbacks, and research, it evolved into something much larger: a bridge between care and community.

That bridge is what BAG Healthcare now stands for. And this is just the start, there are tons of innovative features possible to make the App a Assistant to Care-Givers all over the world.
