Kalpesh Raval
Kalpesh has a strong business background within the veterinary industry, where he started and scaled his businesses over more than a decade. Throughout this period, his mission was to make pet care affordable and accessible to all pets in the veterinary industry.
He currently holds the position of General Manager at Trupanion Pet Insurance, overseeing the insurance business in the Northeast, Florida, and Puerto Rico, to continue his personal journey of making pet care accessible to all pets. Prior to entering veterinary medicine, Kalpesh showcased his entrepreneurial prowess by successfully expanding multiple businesses in the exposition and trade show industry, some of which have been acquired since then.
Suresh Kumar
Suresh U. Kumar is a professor, serial entrepreneur, CXO/Life coach, startup mentor, author, elected official, and non-profit leader. He was born and grew up in Kochi, India and was introduced early to student activism when he was elected to the Students Council of Sacred Heart College. After a brief stint in India with ANZ Bank, Suresh was transferred to Wall Street, New York, in 1991 for an international assignment. He co-founded the first of his five entrepreneurial ventures in 1999, leading to a lifelong passion for innovation and entrepreneurship. After completing his doctorate in entrepreneurship with a path breaking study on Indian American immigrant entrepreneurs, Suresh entered the academic world in 2015 as a startup mentor at Columbia Business School in New York.
Suresh has spoken on and written several Op-Eds on various topics, including politics, history, leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal development. In 2020, Suresh co-founded Indian Americans for Biden-Harris and was appointed to the Biden-Harris Campaign economic development sub-committee on small business and entrepreneurship. He is a member of the Historical Novel Society of North America and Writers for Democratic Action. Suresh’s current roles include Chairman & CEO of the R-Factor.AI, President of The Indus Entrepreneur-NJ Chapter, and Director of innovation and entrepreneurship at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
